Bricklaying Apprenticeships usually last for two years during which time you will attend our Training Centre on a day release or full time course to obtain your Diploma, Key Skills, and Health & Safety. If you are employed you will normally attend the Centre on a day release basis and the remainder of the time will be spent with your employer on site. You will follow the National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q) Level 2 laid down by the Construction Industry Training Board (C.I.T.B) and the City & Guilds, leading to a certificate of apprenticeship.
January to August. Most apprenticeships commence in September of each year.
Application Forms are available from School, Connexions or direct from NWTC using the form at the bottom of this page.
If you obtain the necessary grade in the Selection Test you will be invited to attend an Interview with one of our Training Officers Some evidence of practical ability and an interest in Bricklaying would be an advanrtage.
