North West Training Council provide a comprehensive recruitment Service. We have over 800 potential young apprentices currently on our database. These learners have just left school and are looking to NWTC to find them employment in the following areas.

Engineering	Construction
Electrical Engineering Engineering Machinist Fabrication/Welding Maintenance Engineering Motor Vehicle Security Technician	Carpentry/Joinery Plumbing Plastering Bricklaying Electrical Installation Refridgeration & Air Conditioning Gas Fitting

All the learners currently with us have been tested and given a preliminary interview.

We have information files on each learner for you to study prior to interviewing.

If you provide us with details of the type of apprenticeship vacancy you have and the kind of person (with qualifications) you are looking for, we will ensure we choose the best candidate for you.

When you select your apprentice, we will place them on a registered training programme to NVQ Level 2 or 3. We will provide a full monitoring service, and one of our Training Officers will visit your learner on a regular basis providing you with a constant update of their training.

What will NWTC provide

A Engineering, Construction and Further Education Training Centre
They are all well equipped and staffed by highly qualified industry experienced instructional staff.
Providing Engineering training to City & Guilds and BTEC standards with learners achieving an excellent qualification.
Monitoring and Assessment by our own fully qualified Training Officers

Your organisation will be assigned a Training Officer who will visit and monitor your apprentices on a regular basis, to provide you with an up to date review on their progress.. We will liaise with the Learning & Skills Councils (LSCs), Awarding Bodies and the Further Education Establishments to ensure that your apprentices fully meet the required standards.

NWTC have been training apprentices for over 47 years. We currently have learners in Plumbing, Plastering, Joinery, Bricklaying and Gas Fitting with over 9 month’s practical training. These learners already have the basic skills and are enthusiastic and ready for employment as an apprentice with your company.

We also have an intake of Construction, Engineering and Business Administration apprentices in September, so whatever type of apprentice you’re looking for, we can help.
