How to Apply for an Apprenticeship

You can register your interest in being considered for an apprenticeship, direct via our website, click on Register Now and fill in the form, include as much details about yourself as you can at this stage.

Selection Test

You should have or hope to gain Grade C or above in GCSE Math, English, Science and a Technical subject or equivalent.

If your registration of interest in progressed you will be invited to attend our Initial Recruitment Selection Test.

Preliminary Interview

If you obtain qualifying results in the NWTC Initial Recruitment Selection Test you will be invited to attend an interview with one of the recruitment team at NWTC.  Some evidence of practical ability and an interest in engineering work would be an advantageous at this stage.

Company Interviews

On successful completion of the above elements, company interviews are then arranged for the most suitable applicants.

NWTC offer full Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) to all applicants about the apprenticeships we offer.  IAG will continue throughout the apprenticeship for successful applicants.  If you need information of the apprenticeship you are applying for please feel free to email me with your questions.  This service is also available to parents/carers of applicants.
